Tété at the Chocolate Fair
We'll be running a food stall at the Grândola Chocolate Fair, with a special menu made for the fair. The beach restaurant is closed from 5 to 9 November (the days before and after are for setting up and packing down): come and find us in Grândola.

Tété is also available for private hire. The covered terrace, the roof terrace and the kitchen are all yours, for a wedding, a christening, a birthday, a company dinner or a party with friends, with the Melides sunset as the backdrop.

Where is Tété Melides?
At the entrance to Praia de Melides, in the Grândola municipality on the Alentejo coast, by the lagoon, with parking at the door. It is about 25 minutes by car from Santo André, 30 from Grândola and 35–40 from Comporta and Carvalhal.
Do I need to book a table?
We recommend it, especially for dinner and at weekends. Call +351 269 035 548.
What are the opening hours?
Lunch 12:30 to 15:00 and dinner 19:00 to 22:00, every day except Tuesday.
What kind of food do you serve?
Portuguese food: plates to share such as fried cuttlefish, garlic prawns, octopus salad and salmon tartare, and mains such as prawn and bread stew (açorda), creamy cod (bacalhau com natas), cod loin, Alentejo-style pork with clams, fillet steak and entrecôte with chimichurri. Home-made desserts, Alentejo wines and passion fruit sangria.
Is there a kids' menu?
Yes: burger on a plate or fish fingers, with rice and fries, for €8.50.
Can I book the restaurant for a private event?
Yes. We host weddings, christenings, birthdays and company dinners. Ask for a proposal on WhatsApp: +351 91 580 73 26.
